• APC foundation has created a website and promoted periodic mailings and word of mouth awareness on social media,

  • Designed, developed, maintained, and supported a website that provides up-to-date, evidence-based information on prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment

  • Established and promoted a prostate cancer blog for patients to share their experience

  • Provided information pamphlets and brochures to clients in medical offices

  • Held educational conferences and seminars

  • Helped in Networking with other nonprofit organizations

  • Explored partnerships with foundations and other organizations that have similar purposes and goals as APCF

  • APCF has used volunteers and independent contractors to accomplish our goals and objectives.

  • APCF’s services shall be provided initially in Texas, Florida, and Delaware. Once established, APCF plans to expand its services to additional states in the USA.

Funding of APCF activities

  • Contributions from urologists, physicians, patients, pharmaceutical companies, well-wishers, and others.

  • 100% of the net proceeds of a book, titled Paradigm Shifts in Prostate Cancer, co-authored by the President and the Treasurer, shall be donated to APC Foundation.

  • APCF will obtain grants from National & State funding sources to partially fund underserved and underinsured patients

  • APCF will secure assistance  from various medical organizations such as the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI), American Urological Association (AUA), American College of Surgeons (ACS), American Medical Association (AMA)

  • APCF will conduct Fundraisers and activities such as a bike fest, 5k run/walk, etc.

Future Activities

  • sponsor fundraising events

  • Conduct or help in conferences, seminars, and meetings

  • APCF will consider hiring appropriate staff as the needs of the Foundation grow, and the Foundation becomes financially established

This nonprofit organization facilitates a better understanding and communication focusing on advances in complementary medicine, yoga, and appropriate lifestyle choices for the management of CaP patients and survivors.
